The story of converses.

Converses Company was started in 1908 by Marquis Converse.
At the beggining it wasn't good for sports. It was first rubber and canvas shoes.
In 1920 started to be a special shoe for basketball: “The converse all stars”.
It was promoted by players.
Later, became the official NBA shoe. Also popular with artists or musicians.
Naw is less popular. The company where sold to NIKE in 2003 for these reason it is popular again.
In 2008, 950 million pairs were sold.
